NEW FOR 2008! STAND-UP PADDLEBOARDING. Corolla Surf Shop will be renting and selling stand-up paddleboards, as well as adding stand-up paddleboarding to the CSS Surf School. With fresh boards in from our "Real" friends on Pea Island, it's on.

WEEKEND OF WAVES 4/20/08
Spring is here, the air is warmer, and the waves have been going off. Friday was a beautiful day to say the least. The sun was shining, waves were insane, and people were all over the beach. Its very rair on the Outer Banks that you can pull off an all day surf bonanza the wind and waves cooperate with you, well that was the scene on Friday. Our local ESA contest was on Saturday in Kitty Hawk,so the team was getting their "practice" in.
The morning of the contest was still fun, with waist to chest glassy sets rolling in and all the competitors feeling the stoke from their sessions from friday. CSS team riders JM Destafano, TJ Crum, Greg Sherman, Gary Smith, John Barnes, and Jay Hawkotte were all on deck. Thanks to everyone for supporting and having a great day on the beach.

Corolla Surf Shop Longboard Invitational
Corolla Surf Shop held its 1st Corolla Surf Shop Invitational Longboard
Contest on Saturday, August the 4th. 50 surfers went head to head in
single elimination using ESA rules. No could have guessed the final
outcome! The final heat included 2 father son combinations (Bill Hume
Sr. & Billy Hume Jr and Thomas and Tanner Muiska), and arguable 2 of
Corolla's best surfers, TJ Crum & Mike Cherry.
